About Lamination Browz

Brow lamination is a chemical treatment, not a tattoo. We apply a mild relaxer to the brow hairs, brush them up and outward into the shape we want, then set them with a neutraliser. The hair keeps that direction for six to eight weeks. There is no needle, no pigment, no healing window.

People call this "eyebrow perming" but that is not quite right. A perm adds curl. Lamination does the opposite. It straightens and lifts hairs that naturally want to grow sideways or downward, so the full length of your brow hair is actually visible. Most clients have more brow hair than they realise. Lamination just shows it.

It also works well as a starting point before committing to pigmentation. If you have never had semi-permanent brows and you are not sure about the shape, a lamination lets you see your own natural brow at its fullest for six weeks. If you love it, great, keep lamination. If you want it permanent, you now know the shape works for your face before we pick up a needle.

Is this right for you?

This is right for you if…

  • Clients with dense natural brow hair that grows in every direction and needs training
  • First-time clients who want to preview a fuller brow shape before committing to pigment
  • People who want a low-maintenance, no-pigment approach to fuller brows
  • Regular threading or waxing clients who want a reset between shaping appointments

This is not for you if…

  • Very sparse brows. Lamination lifts existing hair, it does not create new hair
  • Active eyebrow eczema, psoriasis, or broken skin in the brow area
  • Anyone on active chemotherapy or within three months of finishing. Skin and hair are too fragile

Questions about Lamination Browz

Will this damage my brow hairs?

Done correctly and not repeated too often, no. The solution is mild and timed to your hair type. Repeated back-to-back laminations, or laminations done at home with the wrong strength product, will dry the hair and cause breakage. We space treatments at least 6 weeks apart.

Can I book a pigment service straight after?

We recommend waiting at least 2 weeks between a lamination and any pigmentation work. The skin needs to settle and the hair needs to soften back to its normal texture so we can map the shape accurately. Book them as two separate appointments.

Why not do this at home with a kit?

The kits sold online use a generic processing time. Brow hair varies by person. Leave the solution on for 30 seconds too long and you get frizz, breakage, or hair that falls out at the root. Most of the repair cases we see are home-kit jobs.

How often can I repeat it?

Every 6 to 8 weeks is safe. The hair needs time to recover between treatments. If you want to stretch it further, we can show you how to brush and set the brows at home to keep the shape between appointments.
